Thankful: Day 4

Today I'm thankful for cute baby clothes.

Because, as it turns out, not all of them are cute.

I'm just going to throw it out there--I thought baby boy clothes were hard to find, but I think baby girl clothes are WAY harder. I mean, sure, it's difficult to find non-penguin, non-truck, or non-monkey "handsome dude" boy clothes. But I'll take that over searching through "sassy-princess-cutie-angel-cupcake-munchkin" hot pink/black/leopard print chaz any day! I'd like for my little one to stay innocent, sweet, and free-from-the-world's-slogans for at least a few years, please :)

This made me laugh. Everyone keeps telling me how much cuter girl clothes are but there are some way tacky ones out there. I am going to try to shy away from butterflies, unicorns, flower power stuff, etc. for as long as possible.

That outfit is a good start! I love it!
Your thankful theme this month is awesome. It's keeping my mind on what I'm thankful for.

Just wait until she gets older. It actually gets harder to find modest clothes that don't have peace signs, jewels or slogans plastered all over them.
Then when you do find appropriate clothes, little girls in her class will call her a tom boy and tell her her clothes are ugly and send her home in tears. Sorry to be so negative but this is what we have been dealing with around here.
I am so excited you are having a little girl. Girls are so fun!!!

Word. It's all the "diva/drama queen/spoiled" ones that I can't stand! Like that stuff needs to be encouraged! Blech!
