I've really been looking forward to this day!!!

When Seth and I settled on a wedding date, we were 99 days away from our wedding--so I usually tell people we were engaged for 99 days. I remember thinking that it was SOOOOOOO far away, and I was so sad that we had to wait soooooo long to get married. Turned out with Mom's planning skills and me trying to help from across the country, we finished most of the wedding preparations about a month in advance, and it went a lot faster than I thought it would!

Well, today marks 99 days until our baby's due date. In a way it seems SOOOOOO far away, but it's really not--if it flies as much as our engagement did we'll be set to go! I assume, again, with Mom's fantastic planning skills and me trying to put things together here (now on the other side of the country) the baby will be all ready to join us in our home. And...if we're ready 30 days early he could come anytime after that, right? Let's face it, I would love a healthy happy baby, but I don't mind if he's a little small when he comes out--bring on October 20th! (I can will it to happen, I tell the baby every day that he can come on October 20th and that he'll be happier that way). :)

Well...if we need to wait until November 1, we'll do it. 99 days isn't so bad, after all!

Baby's first Shower!

A few weeks ago, Seth and I had the chance to go up to Utah to visit family!!! While we were there, a few of my sisters and mom threw a baby shower for me and baby johnson!!

and the rest of us got to enjoy, too!!
It was SO fun to see so many cousins/aunts/sisters/sis in laws again! I love having people together and celebrating. Thank you so much, everyone, for taking time out of your saturdays to come, and for your generosity! Baby Johnson is going to be one hip dude!

We were also lucky enough to have 3 babies under 4 months join us for the shower. It was fun to see what I get to have in just a few short months! Look at these cuties!

Dad even got to join us for a bit! Love you, Dad!
