My cute friend Taryn had this on her blog, and since I ohhh and awww over everything she ever makes, and I've always wanted to try my hand at some more crafties, I'll join the bandwagon!
Seriously, though, I've been excited to make several different things this year, but haven't had the motivation until now!
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me!
My choice.For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year.The catch?
Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your own blog and offer the same deal to 5 of your own lucky blog readers.
p.s. I won't be offended if you don't post it on your blog and still comment that you want something....I'll actually laugh and think "that's what i was hoping i could do!"

Pray for my Sis
My oldest sister Amy was in the hospital last week, and went back earlier this week with some futher complications. Since I'm not a doctor and don't want to get my facts wrong, her blog is here and explains the details. I've just been thinking and praying for her the past two days, and trying to figure out what I can do to help. I wish I wish I wish we lived closer!!
If you have a minute, can you please say a prayer for her and for her family? I know it will strengthen them!

A tour of our apartment
We're FINALLY posting pictures of or apartment, so welcome!!! (Pretty much took the pictures from the same spot in the house, just turning, so you don't even have to walk...)
Here's the front door/front room/entry/entrance to the kitchen/top of the stairs:

And our Kitchen!
And our front room!! (I like these decorations, compliments of our home teacher, Zarco, the Brown family, & Mom and Dad!)
And this is the wall that i'm not quite sure what to do with--what does one put in these cute picture frame shelves???
And our Dining room:
And our living room:
And our beroom:
And...what you've all been waiting for! Our disaster room :)

I didn't show you the bathroom....you'll have to come visit for that! :) haha. We still have a lot of pictures to hang, and a few more things to decorate, but here's what we've got!

Surprise Visitor
This is seriously the strangest story.
Last night Seth was cleaning up, and said "hey Janey, where'd the little figure on our bed come from?" and i said "whaaaaaaaaa???" and he said "the guy in the blue shirt and red hat" and i said "what in the world are you talking about?"
He then brought this downstairs.....

So if you're a Price, you know that this is the bully from our Fisher Price collection. You also know it's a figure in mom and dad's toy room, not a figure from my bedroom in California. I seriously haven't seen the bully for 10 years. I asked Seth to make sure he wasn't playing a trick on me, and he was as baffled as I was. (AND, it's really the one from Mom and Dad's house, because it has little bite marks in the hat that i made when i was three...)
I wasn't wearing ANYTHING that i've ever worn at mom and dad's house, and neither was seth. And this wasn't a toy that was ANYWHERE in our house before...and suddenly it showed up in our bed?????? I promise I didn't steal it Mom, seriously!
Seriously, any clues, people?? We're thinking this might just show up in the next sibling's house we visit--watch out! :)

A Visit from the Reeds
We ventured around and saw all the cool stars and foot/hand prints (i'm so jealous of how tiny all the ladie's feet were!). We then headed down through beverly hills to see Hermes (I pronounced it Her-MEEEEs, because i'm ridiculous) and the rest of Rodeo drive (I also say RO-dE-O instead of ro-deh-o) and then we took the Reeds on a wild goose chase down to the local strip mall in Marina Del Rey for what we thought was our replacement "2 Amys" pizza. Haha, we didn't realize it would be in a strip mall, oops! It was a fun atmosphere, though, and we had fun talking to the fam for the rest of the evening!
Thanks for coming up, Reeds!!!! We were so glad we got to see you!
Christmas
We never posted about christmas, but it's never too late!
Christmas was a fabulous vacation! We flew in LAAAAATE on the 23rd and stayed up even later talking to mom and dad. The next morning we woke up and went to see Seth's grams, and then went to a fabulous dinner at the Roof with Mom & Dad.

Afterward we went to see the lights at temple square. This was one of my favorite new additions--the mary and joseph in the water. I loved how serene and beautiful everything is.

Christmas Morning was so fun! Mom and Dad really are so thoughtful and we got perfect gifts! Seth got me a DS lite, and it has gotten a ton of use from the both of us :) Check our our couples aprons!!! (and cute pjs from Gina, with awesome "california style" slippers from mom :)
After christmas Mary and Jeff came up, and we got to see Heather's family and Mary's family!! (Mary, can i get some of your awesome pictures from your awesome camera??) It was so fun to see sibs again and spend a bit of quality time together.
The next few days we spent with Seth's family and with Grams. She is such a lovely lady, and we were glad to spend quality time with her and with the Johnsons!
Happy Christmas, everyone!

Loves
You know, sometimes there are bumps on the road of life. And we cry, and we're sad, and we wonder why things happen. And it's hard. But a few things that makes these hard times so much better are the loving phone calls, e-cards, emails, peppermint brownies, cards, flowers, prayers, words of kindness, wisdom, understanding, and thoughtful family & friends. Thank you so much for everything! We love you and thank you for your support and prayers!
Love,
Seth & Jane

Birthday!!!!
Well, I'm 26. It was a fantastic birthday! Seth and I celebrated on the 19th since I had the day off. Seth worked for a bit while I shopped, then he came back and we went to dinner (pictures to follow!!! Waaaaayy too late to be uploading right now...) at the Daily Grill, one of my faves. They fed us yummy desserts for free, and then we came home and watched "24" and stayed up until midnight so we could ring in my day of birth!!! Seth gave me an iPod touch because he's pretty much telepathic and knew that's exactly what I wanted (YAY!) so now I can join in the other iTouch iPhoners in the family and explore the many iTunes applications. It's pretty awesome!
All day I felt so loved, from facebook messages, wall posts, emails, phone calls, IMs, and the biggest parties ever in DC! I loved watching the innauguration and even got teary when they showed all the sites of DC...it made me miss the district sooo much (but then I walked outside and it was 70 degrees and i didn't miss it quite so much...) :)
Tonight Seth was supposed to have bishopric meeting, but they cancelled it (I like to think in honor of me...) so Seth and I got to hang out again! We were pretty tired from our day so we went to a local salad place and then got my free birthday coldstone before watching the office from last week and part of american idol. And here I sit, blogging before bedtime....
I have to say one of my favorite parts of the day was reading my google reader and coming across this article. I thought it was real and started reading to seth before I realized it was the Onion, but it's still probably one of my favorite moments of today. :)
It's an exciting day--a day of change, of new beginnings, and of celebration! Happy January 20th people!

Annie tagged me!
---Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.--
1. I can fall asleep almost instantly.
2. Somewhat related to this, if any movie is on (not in the theater) i can hardly keep my eyes open and usually fall asleep in 5-10 minutes.
3. I like baking lately--I'm working on bread/breadsticks/pizza dough lately. My kitchen aid sure helps!
4. I have naturally curly eyebrows and a mole in the middle of another eyebrow, so no matter how hard i try, i can't shape my own brows. I find an eyebrow stylist everywhere i live and get regular eyebrow waxes. And just the other day sammi told me i had nicely shaped eyebrows, so i guess all that pays off! :)
5. I have to have my purse in my bedroom at night. If it's downstairs i'll have nightmares about it getting stolen. (also, we live in west hollywood....so it's kind of a realistic sort of nightmare)
6. On a related note, lately I've had a lot of dreams that there's an earthquake...but I really think that there is an earthquake, so I wake up and wake seth up to ask him if he felt the earthquake. Seth thinks it's hilarious and makes sure to look up the seismic activity to prove that there wasn't, in fact, an earthquake.
