I really like reading other people's blogs. In fact, every time I go to blog about my own life, I somehow happen upon a new blog, which leads me to another new blog, etc. This is why I haven't posted in so long...all my blog posting time somehow gets eaten up in the fascination of all of YOUR adventures! It's been fun to find friends from high school, college, DC, and other random walks of life. Sometimes I just have to laugh that I keep up on people because when I see them I don't feel like I should say "oh hey, I heard that...(insert details of blog post #1,2,3...here)!" I am always sad when someone has a link to their blog of a friend and it's private so I can't read it...somehow I feel deprived of getting to know a potential bff :)
People fascinate me. I just love so many people, and while I don't have occasion or opportunity to regularly converse with many, I'm glad I have the chance to share in a part of their world!
This post has two purposes, the first stated above, but let me just say "Hey thanks to everyone for blogging about your life!! It's so fun to see you!"
The second purpose came about when I realized that my blog is kind of like having a conversation with someone...only I don't know who they are! This is widely disconcerting to me simply because I'd love to know my audience. So....I now open my comment section to all the potential readers of my blog...let yourself be known, are you a visitor, friend, stranger, friend-i-haven't-met-yet? I'd like to say hello :) Please Leave your real name....no aliases or fake names please :)
