Okay...one more
I sometimes lurk on Don Osmond's blog (he's Donny Osmond's son) and he had this video posted, I thought it was hilarious!
Late Night Quilting
Whenever Seth is out of town my life gets really awkward. No matter where I'm at (dinner with friends, grocery store, barnes and noble, adult stake conference, stake conference...) I get about 12 quizzical stares that translate into "oh no jane is here and seth is not did they break up what happened is she okay what should i say i shouldn't ask maybe i should just pretend like everything is normal...." (all in about 1.2 seconds). I immediately and quickly try to get out in as few words as possible that "it's okay i'm happy seth is JUST out of town don't panic!" but BOY, it sure takes a lot out of me to have to keep the world calm when Seth is gone!
OF COURSE, I am very appreciative of the care and concern of my dear dear friends, and admittedly I have done the same thing with my friends in long term relationships, but it REALLY is just hilarious how worried people get and how panicked I get trying to calm them down!
I also just get really....not bored because I have people to see and things to do, but maybe more glum or sluggish or something. I try to fill my day with things, but it's like I have this buildup of 199454389025439850 million things that I want to say but don't have anyone to say them to. Thus, a lot more phone minutes used and bored family members and friends trying to listen to my non-stop rambling (Thank you Family and Friends!) (and...as you may have noted....I blog. a lot.)
Anyway, last night I had wanted to go to bed early for stake conference, but I wasn't tired yet and I was being emotional and silly, so I decided that i'd sew and watch Gilmore girls for a little while. Ta Da! This is what I made!!!
I have wanted to make this pattern ever since I saw it on my friend Mel's blog, so I'm glad I had a few hours to bust it out! Now, my worst thing is actually getting it bound and quilted, so that will be my next task, wish me luck!

Macaroni Grill
The Macaroni Grill is a place of many memories for me....and last night was yet another memory, so I thought I'd recap some of my memories here:
The first time I went to Macaroni grill was in April 2001 in SLC with the Lowe Family. It was the first time I ever tried Calamari. At the time I did not know that meant Squid. If i Had I would have never eaten it, but I'm glad I didn't know because I love it!
The next time I went to Macaroni grill was with Angie, Pat, and Nolan in SLC. Again, most amazing food, and I tried Artichokes for the first time. I would have NEVER tried them on my own, but i LOVED THEM!
THEN On December 4, 2004 Remi, Noelle, Cameron, Ben, and I went to Macaroni Grill for dinner. We had so much fun at dinner, and i fell even more in love with their bread!
On our drive home, we were turning left at the light on the corner, and a car that definitely had a red light sped at 45mph right into the left side of our car, T-Boning us...I didn't have my seatbelt on, but I had my arm linked in my friend Remi's arm. I bonked heads with her (her head on my cheek/eye), and then bounced over to the right side of the car, and my head hit the ceiling while my bum smashed into the side of the door (leaving a dent) and sliding up the window. LUCKILY, everyone was fine, but we did all go to the hospital (my first time in an ambulance), and they checked us out at the hospital for hours and hours, and finally let us go, and our friends Rob and Doug came and got us. On the way home, almost the same thing happened (we almost got T-Boned again!) It was traumatic to say the least, and I don't think ANY of us wanted to drive together ever again!!!
The next year for my Birthday (my 23rd) I decided I wanted to go to the same Macaroni Grill again--and this time we were safe! This is the night that I discovered the "create your own pasta" menu. It's my favorite. I now always get Garlic Cream Sauce with Bowtie pasta and Sundried Tomatoes, Pine Nuts, and Artichoke Hearts. It's TONS of food, so I always get to have leftovers the next few days...MMMm MMM.
Last year I took Seth to MG for his Birthday. We were eating at a cozy booth, and we saw my friends Sam and Annalise! We hadn't seen them forever, so they came up to the table and we were quietly chatting. Then, the MANAGER came up to our table and very rudely told Sam to sit down or leave and told us that we were really disturbing all the other people around us by having our friends stand at the end of our table. I was SOOO embarrassed that he did that, so seth and I left a note on the table telling them that we loved macaroni grill food but that we would never be able to come there again because of their lack of customer care or service (i was REALLY emotional about this one!)
ANYway, last night I went to the adult session of Stake Conference with Remi, and we decided that afterward we should go to MG! (You know for old times' accidents' sake!) We drove down there, and took a different way so we wouldn't have to drive past the accident corner. This was one of the BEST MG experiences EVER. We were seated by one of the singers, Eric, who took it upon himself to make our nights FANTASTIC! (he wasn't even our waiter, he just kept taking care of us and giving us top-notch treatment!)
1. He was SO nice in seating us
2. He made sure that we got bread right away!
3. He brought us some Pesto to put in our Olive Oil (oh it is THE BEST, you've got to try it!)
4. He brought us seconds of bread and MORE pesto after he saw how much we liked it.
5. He sang to us. Oh and BOY can he sing! He sang us an italian sailor song that was BEAUTIFUL!
We couldn't help but take a picture of him!

My Asian Valentines Day
This was one of the best V-Days ever! For some reason, I realized today that the entire theme of our Valentines day is "asian"--just see... I reserved the 13th to take Seth out:
We went and got Sushi! (and i got cooked food):
Then we went to this Japanese Modern Dance Performance....That was VERY STRANGE....The best part about it was before the show the Japanese Robot Lady that you could talk to...
Seth asked her if she spoke Japanese (in Japanese, he's so cool!) He impressed all the people around us with his skills:
Then we went upstairs to this Japanese Art Exhibit--and the rooms looked like this (those are balloons in the different shapes...):
The Day of VDAY was so fun--my CoWorker Heidi took me out (well...her new car Stella took us out) to Cheesecake Factory!! Heidi got her staple Chicken Salad Sandwich and I got the Chinese Chicken Salad (again, asian). Mmmm MMMMM it was YUMMY! To top it off, Heidi got me a Chocolate Rasperry Truffle Cheesecake (oh it was DELICIOUS). Here's a shout out to Heidi for making my Vday-Day so wonderful!!!
Vday Night Seth had to work a little late, but as soon as he got off we ordered P.F. Chang Takeout (I got the Crispy Honey Chicken and Seth got the Mongolian Beef with Broccoli!) and we ate it by Candellight at Seth's apartment! (I didn't get any pictures, oops!). Then we were going to watch a movie, but ended up chatting online with Cauley and Jamie (it was so fun!) and talking to Luke on the phone (also really fun!). Then we sat and talked about all the reasons we love each other (this is where all the little kids start grimacing at the gushy talk, hee hee).

Christmas in Nauboo!
I loved Christmas in Nauboo. It was so fun to drink hot cocoa and chit chat and relax and go see the sites in Nauvoo. I loved it. I love Mom & Dad!!!!
Mom and Dad Picked me up in St. Louis and we went to(and by that i mean drove really slowly by) the Arch! We also went to the mall and the temple--all were so beautiful! :
